Lentamente Società Cooperativa Agricola

The agricultural cooperative "Lentamente" manages a farm that deals with the production of ancient grains, barley, hemp, grapes, olives and vegetables using crop rotations. The company started its operations in September 2013. The company uses production methods that do not include the use of synthetic chemicals even if it does not boast organic/biodynamic brands (albeit in the transition phase towards the organic regime). The Lentamente cooperative operates in a public farm, "Casaldianni", located in the Municipality of Circello, owned by the "Rummo Hospital" of Benevento and managed by the "Provincia di Benevento" body, on land belonging to the ASL BN near Benevento, a San Marco dei Cavoti, a Solopaca and in Pietrelcina. We have 2 buildings and also public buildings located at the Casaldianni company for educational activities. We also have a sales point in Benevento, in the social farm “Orto di Casa Betania”. The structures have an entrance on the ground floor and do not have stairs or other obstacles for the disabled. The classrooms themselves are arranged on one level and so are the toilets. The farm also has at its disposal a sales point in the city of Benevento where it carries out direct sales by aggregating the production of other producers as well.

Cooperativa Immaginaria

The Imaginary Social Cooperative was born in 2012 and operates in various areas of intervention. The Territory as a material and immaterial system of values, identities, uses, customs, typicality, symbols, signs, constraints, history and culture, represents a living subject, a non-reproducible common good to be cared for and on which to base territorial development policies. and socio-economic sustainability. Inland areas, be they rural or urban suburbs, in a trend that unites Italy to many European countries, are experiencing a negative demographic balance that is reflected in the depopulation resulting from the abandonment of the now impoverished and frayed communities. The isolation and desolation of urban suburbs, villages and rural areas entail the slow extinction of many forms of traditional knowledge linked to the surrounding nature and places, but also the development of cooperation between people. Today, those with a good level of education, with a cultural background that has grown over the decades and who dream of a job adequate to the course of study done and the needs necessary for a peaceful life, feel forced to abandon their homeland. The possibility of creating a job opportunity based on the skills acquired, on the reference territory and on traditions - and therefore on the roots of belonging - is an unrealizable dream. We are in fact convinced of the possibility of developing personal skills through artistic / performative and cultural activities that enhance places and protect them from abandonment.
